Two kids in diapers for real this time...

Here's Baby Adsero #2 at 9 weeks. I know.... we're nuts!!

Auntie L's Visit

Laura came to help us with the move to Korea. It has been a dream to have a nanny around 24/7. We painted the kitchen, touched up the family room paint job, weeded the yard, cleaned the house to show it to potential renters etc, etc... lot's of not fun things but it's been great. Here are some photos we took during our time together:

This is how Lincoln loves to nurse/eat and sleep:

Ugly Baby

Matt always gets annoyed with me because I always take so many pictures. As I was going through some old photos of Lincoln, I was reminded of why I do take so many and felt justified in my habit. You gotta take a bunch to get a good one otherwise you end up with these:

A Not So Creepy Crawler

Lincoln has been thinking about crawling for quite some time and finally took the plunge yesterday. I love how haphazard and jerky his movements are. I am finding him getting into trouble more than usual. I leave the room thinking I have at least 30 seconds before he could get to anything dangerous, but that time has been cut in half. He is a mover and a shaker. He loves pulling the glass balls off the low limbs of the Christmas tree. Time to invest in a few more baby gates... this time for the baby and not for the dogs. It's a good thing I hurdled on the high school track team!

7 Months

Here he is the day after his 7 month birthday. The lady at Walgreen's who took his passport photos couldn't get enough of him. After his photo shoot she asked if she could hold him. I said sure and she grabbed him from me and kissed him all over. Who wouldn't wanna kiss that cute little face? (Good thing I got him his Swine Flu vaccination already). It's hard to believe that my baby is gonna be a world traveler soon. Too bad he'll be too young to appreciate it. I didn't get a passport till I was leaving on my mission. Anyway, here are some of his favorite pastimes as of lately:
  • He has started to army crawl a little
  • He loves to "blow bubbles" with his food
  • He arches his back and screams every time I put him in his car seat
  • He says "da da da da" a lot
  • He holds his own bottle when laying on the floor
  • He gets very upset when you take away a "toy" he shouldn't be playing with i.e. the vacuum cord or a fork
  • He has discovered the outlets and started to put his fingers in them (gotta start baby proofing)

He just gets more and more fun as the days go by. We sure love him.
