8 Years Strong

We've made it 8 years!!

Matt planned a romantic date to Bayou Bend Gardens and then we got a 6 course meal at Rainbow Lodge. We had a scallop appetizer, steak salad, venison, salmon, wild boar and bison. It was amazing.

This is one I got off the internet. Next time we'll have to go during azalea season.

First Day of School

 Back to Brill. Bennett is so excited for Kindergarten. They're both gonna do great this year!

Summer of Seals

I participated in a fitness test this summer. I had a hard time working out with all the boys at home over the summer, but despite that, I did OK. The swim especially surprised me. I did much better than last year. We had to swim 500M, change, then do 2 min push-ups, 2 min sit-ups and 2 min pull ups and then run a mile and a half. After the swim, I almost passed out on the run. Not my best run.

I love having dance parties with the kids. Recently I downloaded a bunch of pop songs that actually have clean lyrics. Lincoln LOVES Justin Bieber and wants to be him. Oh no. He says that his hair is "So cool!". We're in trouble.
