The House

Well, now that we have the internet, I can post more pix. These are the pix that were on the seller's realtor's website...so not our furniture, but it'll give you an idea. We've already started painting some rooms, so we'll have some before and after comparisons in a while. Anyway, Matt and I looked high and low, far and wide for our perfect home. This place isn't everything we wanted, but it is pretty darn close. The first time we went through it, Matt and I looked at each other with a knowing look. "Yep, this is it". We told our realtor we'd like to bid on it. I think she thought we'd never agree or put an offer down on any house. The next day she calls us back...someone beat us to the punch. I guess there was an option pending the day we went through it. AHHH!!! Apparently it was meant to be cause the first offer fell through. We jumped on it that very day and got it!

Stats:
  • abt 2600 sq ft
  • 4 bedrooms
  • 2.5 bathrooms
  • has a neighborhood pool and tennis courts

Family Room (Whoa!!! Too much wood):

Bedroom 3:
Master Bedroom:
Master Bath (Our realtor said that the chandelier above the bathtub was "a little kinky". The shower and toilet are around the corner to the right):
Backyard:

We learned after the fact that the wicker chairs and table are sitting on what we think may have been a compost pile. The chairs were a good decoy.

Lucy loves the house too. Well, maybe more the backyard than the house. Here she is stalking squirels and playing in the sprinklers:
