Here's a list of things he does now that he didn't do before:
- Smiles and laughs when looked at
- Has a variety of cries/moans most of which mean he's bored
- Loves to stand up (assisted of course)
- Rolls over (very quickly and probably not on purpose) from tummy to back
- Rolls over (very slowly but purposefully) from back to tummy
- Sucks/bites on anything in range
- Loves to watch TV
- Pulls moms hair and earrings
- Focuses intently on toys, pictures and patterns
- Does "sit-ups"in his car seat...probably trying to escape
- Follows people and voices around the room with his eyes/head
- Talks to himself in his bed when he first wakes up
- Is very grabby and is starting to hold toys on his own
- Puts his whole fist in his mouth
Anyway, the list could go on, but I'll spare you. It really is amazing to watch him grow and develop. I'm glad it happens slowly cause I love holding and snuggling my baby and don't want him to not be a baby any time soon.
He had his four month appointment. Turns out he's pretty average:
- Height: 25 in (50th percentile)
- Weight: 15 lbs 4 oz (50th percentile)
- Head: 42 cm (25th-50th percentile)
He is just so stinkin' cute. I can't believe how much he has changed in 4 months. I love his little smile :)
