Easter Dinner

We had a great Easter dinner with friends from our Branch and friends from our Korean Class. There were probably about 25 people crammed into our little apartment, but we had a good time. Here are some photos of the event.

All the kids retreated to Lincoln's room which was GREAT!

This is Amanda (a fellow Korean student from Oklahoma) and Scott (our Korean teacher who's from Portland). They are both here teaching English.

The dishwashers. Bless them.

Kyeong Jin and Da Jung

Sister Yoon, a girl we just met, and Grandma Seon

Amanda, Elder Matsura, Sister Hadden, Lincoln, and Seon Jeon Pir (the 2nd Counselor in our Branch Presidency)

It was a potluck and this is what we had:

Grilled Lamb with Rosemary and Lemon Sauce

Deviled Eggs

"Bunny Bread" (people were scared to "kill" the bunny)

Black Rice

Kimchi (of course)

Korean Pancakes (savory, not sweet)

  1. looks like fun! this makes it look like you actually live in korea. i believe you now. also, as was pointed out by dad and confirmed by suzanne, The Adseros is without an apostrophe. Since it is simply a plural noun as opposed to a possessive noun: The Adsero's house. Of course Dad knows.

  2. I was just wondering when you were going to post an update. It made me sad to hear your voices! Lincoln is a cutie..watch out he might be a little more jealous of brother than we thought :) That food looks AMAZING! Did you cook it all yourself? We had 22 family members over for Easter tonight..and did a big egg hunt in the backyard. Jarod has been working nonstop on the yard and it looks GREAT! My dreams of winning yard of the month might just happen afterall!! Ok...so sorry for the novel! Miss you and love ya!
