36 weeks and counting...

This pic is microscopic (which is probably a good thing), but my belly is still getting bigger (as is the rest of me). Matt and I realized the other day, that if the baby comes as early as Lincoln did, then we only have a few days till go time!!! Yikes! I spent some time the other day and wrote down Lincoln's and Lucy's schedules for those who may end up taking care of them while I'm in the hospital. I think today, I'll pack a backpack of food and clothes for Lincoln and myself. It's still hard to believe that this is really going to happen. There's another newborn in our branch. They blessed him a couple of weeks ago. He is SO small. It's hard to believe that Lincoln was such a little guy. My belly really is uncomfortably large. I avoided stretch marks last time, but this time I haven't been so lucky... so I'm pretty ready for this baby to come out! Let the countdown begin!

  1. Oh lady I am so so excited for you! And just sad that I can't be there to help. I have been so busy lately that Jarod actually told me all about your adventures as of late, and I just wanted to cry that I haven't been able to talk to you, help you, or even keep updated about your life! I hope you are doing well...the belly is cute (so sorry about the stretch marks!) and I CAN NOT WAIT to see pics of the new guy! LOVE YOU!

  2. Hey Charlotte~ Long time no see! I have to say, you are definitely not alone as to how big you feel right now... I'm right there with ya. It's great to see your belly-growing process, I wish I'd thought to do the same! I'm 25 weeks now, and I have to say I don't remember being this uncomfortable this early on last time. And my belly is really round compare to yours (I wonder if it's because mine's a girl and yours is a boy?) Anyway, good luck with everything! Living in Korea sounds like an adventure~

  3. Oh I also wanted to ask you about your experience being a children's book illustrator...A friend of mine published a book in China and he wants me to translate it and maybe publish it here in the States too...it's not exactly a children's book but it is somewhat related... hard to explain...anyway, I'll shoot you an email if it's ok...Anyway, hope everything goes well!
