Bebe

I've called Bennett "Ben-Ben" for quite some time now. Lincoln calls him Bebe. It's cute. I haven't blogged about Bebe in far too long. I guess part of the reason is, there haven't been a whole lot of happenings with him. He hasn't hit any major milestones like CRAWLING for instance. Hello!!! You're almost 10 months now, Bebe! Guess he hasn't read the pediatricians manual on baby milestones. He does tease with the idea. He gets on all fours and lunges, but if his object of desire is farther than the lunge then he does a funny kinda roll. He pushes up into a sitting position and then turns a half turn while on his bum and then lunges again into and beyond the crawling position. Hard to explain... wish videos loaded here on the outskirts of Lewiston. Just make whatever you have in your mind's eye of how he moves five times more inefficient and you'll be close to reality. 

I find this shot very funny. How 'bout you?

Other things about Bebe: I'm a little nervous about weaning. I think it's gonna be a battle. He refuses to go to sleep unless he's be properly put to bed, i.e. nursed beforehand. He giggles a lot at Lincoln, and loves it when Lincoln wrestles with him. He just recently started clapping and shaking his head. He is more likely to do it if Lincoln is egging him on. He has 5 teeth and is cutting another one as we speak. They kinda came in in a funny order. His first one was a bottom center, then the top middle two, then the bottom one left of center and then the other bottom center one. Now he's working on the top left of center. Like you care, but I found it interesting. Oh, and he's just recently started to try to pull up on things. Here he is by the fireplace:

He's a little ham and has many funny expressions. Most of them, although none recorded here, include his tongue hanging out in some fashion.

We love our Bebe. Did I mention he likes to suck his thumb a lot? We tried to get some cute pictures after church on Easter Sunday, but Ben-Ben was much too tired for the photo shoot. The best we got is our blog header.
