Eldon 18 Months

18 Months???? Where has the time gone?

What is Eldon up to lately? Well, lots. He is saying quite a few more words, but never when prompted. Here is a list:

Daddy: Da-ie

Mommy: Ma

milk: mioo

cheese: chsss

out: ow

Bennett: Baba

more: mo

cracker: gaga

cookie: gogo

Lucy: woof woof

uh-oh: uh-oh

guys (i.e. Little People or anything of the sort): guys

eyes: eye

nose: no

mouth: mao

duck: gak

chickies: giggy

grandpa: bapa

He is very good at sign language and leading you to where he wants you to go. If he's hungry or thirsty, he'll get a plate or cup out of the plasticware drawer and bring it to you, or he'll climb up on the table and climb into his high chair and squawk until he is served. When you guess what he is trying to say, he claps his hands with a big smile on his face. See the video below. He out right tackles the boys if they are kneeling or sitting and he makes lots of different noises for cars, airplanes, animals and when using a sword (already???). He and Bennett are BFF. Whenever one gets into mischief, the other joins in and they laugh and laugh. I keep trying to explain to Bennett that he is the big brother and must be a good example. Hasn't sunk in yet. He often follows Eldon's lead on things and laughs as he goes. They also really love to chase each other around the circle on our main floor. Lots of noise, but it keeps them busy while I cook dinner. 

Eldon really is such a little sweetheart. He still continues to give really sweet hugs at random. Any time you crouch down, you're gonna get a hug from him. Sure love snuggle bug.

Best part of him being 18 months is he goes to nursery at church now, so I can actually enjoy some of church without having to wrestle him. I think he agrees. Terrible lighting in these photos, but you get the idea.
