At the zoo
Matt finally wore a hole in our sheets with his scratchy, cracked heels.
Still mourning the loss... softest sheets ever.
We've had birds in our chimney since the spring. They are getting bigger and louder. Fast forward to 0:40. That's when the real chirping begins.
Lincoln loves doing puzzles!! Very good at doing them on his own.
Lincoln and Bennett both love to do "Insanity" with or without Matt. They must always have their shirts off. Lincoln had already been doing it by himself for 15 minutes at this point. SO CUTE!!! Love their versions of the moves.
Not so sure about the deer in his face at the petting farm.
This deer bit a hole in Lincoln's shirt.
Last I had seen him, he had just a diaper on. No diaper, and quite the outfit!
As you can see in this photo, when they added the new landing, they needed some more crown molding. They wanted to replace it all, but that would be more expensive, so I am attempting to use my art minor sculpting and 3D modeling skills.
Turns out the molding is styrofoam, not wood, so I painted a latex glaze over it, and put a plaster mold on top of it to support the latex. The wet latex is white, dried it is kinda yellow.
Plaster mold on the right, latex mold being peeled off. Next step, filling the mold with Super Foam 300. Hopefully it goes well. Will keep you posted.
Got this patio set and two chaise lounges for $300 on Craigslist. It just needed a little love.
Table refinished!! Chairs and lounges are done as well, but didn't take a picture.
Can't get enough of this cutie.
Lucy bit a cyst off her arm all the way to the muscle fiber. GROSS!!!
Had to wear a cone of shame for 2 weeks until it healed. At least it was soft and in a nice bandanna print!
A girl in my Beehive class has Hydranencephaly. We did a walk to support her and her sister who has the same thing. Ended up at the Fallen Solider's Memorial near our house. Had a great opportunity to talk to the boys about freedom and why we fight.
The boys with another YW of mine, Avery.
