Camping with the Valoras

Fall is kinda here so it's time to go camping!! We went to Martin Dies Jr. State Park that was 2.5 hours away. You gotta book your campsite quick when the humidity starts to subside.

Woke up to this cutie next to me. He abandoned one of his socks above his head. First campout for him.

Again, camping in these parts is not quite the same. Not sure what's worse, the threat of alligators or bears.

The Valora family

My cute friend, and former mission companion, Emily. So glad we live near each other.

Fishing with kids isn't usually very successful.

Addie and Marcie.

Lincoln caught a little turtle and that was all the action we got.

Matt preforming surgery on the turtle to try to get the hook out of his lip. Poor thing.

Pretty fall light.

Weird bugs on the water.

Marcie and Eldon having a chat.

This was the best we could do.

And again, the best we could do.

Parker cooking up some delish bacon.

Cute boys.

Having fun in a pile of leaves. Too bad they're out of focus!

L dog holding down the fort.

Hiking it.

Our fearless leaders.

So pretty

Eldon was throwing a fit here.

  1. Love the ones with the kids out on the dock and the fall light/trees. Looks like a beauty. Poor little Franklin Turtle--so unassuming.
