Can't believe this boy turned 7 this weekend. There are only a few things that I have done for 7 years straight: elementary school, and marriage. 7 seems like a really long time. Can't believe I've been a mom for that long, and part of me can't believe that he's survived so long!
He is such a light in our family. He can be dramatic and overreact, but he is a tender soul. He is extremely empathetic, and is always concerned about other people. He loves friends. He loves to laugh, loud and hard. He loves to build little things, draw, and create. He loves to sing and dance. He is turning out to be a great goalie for his soccer team. He craves goofiness and enjoys annoying people. He is very obedient and helpful. He is a great sharer. He is becoming a very great reader and holding his own with the math stuff. He says that he wants to go into the military so he can sacrifice for others like Jesus did. I hope he doesn't actually do that. I told him that I hope he has a safe engineering job like his forefathers. He has kept things interesting around the house this year with the double arm break. He often says that he wishes that he could still be a baby like Oliver so he wouldn't do bad things and that I would love on him all the time. He loves to be loved and loves to love. Happy Birthday, Linky Pants!
