Fall Festival

Still sweating here in Abu Dhabi, but not as much. It is bearable now. It's been too hot to go to the beach, now it is prime. Sadly, while taking advantage of the weather at the beach, my phone got salt water in it. Hopefully I can get my data somehow before I lay my phone to rest... Anyway, until then, you'll just have to enjoy our Halloween moments:

Eldon has a little once-a-week preschool that a few moms from church rotate teaching. It was my turn this week. We were focusing on the letter D, so we Dressed up for Halloween, Danced, Decorated cookies, Dug for Dinosaur bones, etc, etc. Eldon asks me every day if it is preschool day or not. Sadly, 6 out of 7 times, I have to say no. I think this kid is ready for real school!!

Seth, Sophi, Ollie, Eldon, David, and our Oliver that we may have to start calling Leo cause literally 4 other little boys at church are named Oliver.

Diggin for Dinosaurs in the desert sand in our "backyard".

Cuties.

Bennett said that this year he wanted to be something scary. I said OK, but drew the line at fake blood. He was satisfied with being a Brill Bronco Zombie.

Lincoln saw this cheap costume at the grocery store and had to have it. Whatever. I bought the biggest size, but it was a belly shirt so I made him wear one of my under shirts underneath. He was not pleased, but was glad he could make the costume work. He has grown out of all our dress-up boots!! Had to go with the Nikes.

Eldon settled on Robin after I bought him a grim reaper costume at the grocery store. Some battles aren't worth fighting. Oliver is a cowboy that won't wear his hat or boots and rubbed off his goatee. We tried.

Weirdos.

I'm busy, mom.

Bunch of goons. Please take note of the astroturf field at the school. Real grass doesn't do super well here.

Somehow his hair color ended up all over his face...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

  1. I am loving these Halloween pics! They are so dang cute. And you did a good job with their makeup. I feel like that's the artist in you...you're just good at stuff like that. Also, it's so fun to see pieces of your every day life like their school, classmates, astroturf, your sand backyard. Keep these posts coming!
