We're getting trunky so we bought a trunk... a 200 year old one, Korean style.
Inside, there is paper that was glued to the inside with handwritten Chinese characters on it. The characters are reversed cause the paper was glued face down and then some of the paper layers were ripped off. It's really cool looking.
The iron work on it is amazing.
It smells of incense, must and mystery. We love it.
What a wonderful find and such great character with the old peeled paper inside...a piece of art, I'd say. Miss you!
