Repatriation

We're coming back to "the land of the free and home of the brave"!!! Matt's project has run into some issues with transporting the modules (like this), and so they need him in Lewiston, ID to help sort things out. We'll only be there for 6 months or so and then who knows where. We've enjoyed our time in Korea, but I am looking forward to being close to family, especially this summer when my sister has a baby, Matt's sister has a baby, Julia and Nick graduate and my parents leave on a mission. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm really looking forward to things like this:

The Snake River

Camas Prairie Train Leaving Lewiston

Near Lewiston

Downtown Lewiston

The good ol' western United States. Lots different from our current view:

See you soon!

  1. OH MY GOSH!!!! I can't wait! It will be so fun to have you back here again, not that I live close, but still. We can talk on the phone and perhaps visit when I go back to UT this summer. Also, so many babies! Is Laura preg? And where are your parents going? So much exciting news! When do you come back? Maybe these would be best addressed in an email.

  2. Charlotte welcome back!

Randy and I just moved from Moscow which is 30 minutes from Lewiston. When we first moved to Moscow I actually worked in Lewiston. It is a really pretty area of Idaho but it is in the middle of nowhere. We have some good friends that live there now. I'd love to introduce you. She has a little boy probably about 1 1/2 years older than your oldest and 2 little girls (one is probably Lincoln's age and the other is a newborn). Her husband is working as an accountant there. Our other really good friends are probably moving there when they finish up school in Moscow. There family is from there. So depending on how quickly you move to Lewiston they may be there as well. Both of them are so nice.

Anyways, just thought I'd let you know that is my old stomping ground just in case you had any questions about the place and don't know anybody else living there. Plus I have a list of "My favorite Palouse Activities" as Lewiston is a very isolated little town but there is a lot of stuff around to keep you entertained. We never did finish our list of "Want Tos" there.

Good luck with the move! And when/if you're in Utah we should meet up with Natalie and have an old roommate reunion! I'd love to see you and meet your little men.
