Correction....April Showers bring April Babies

Well. The day has finally arrived. Our little boy is finally here. He shot out into the world at around 1:20 this afternoon. It took Charlotte awhile to get warmed up, but once she was ready the baby came quite quickly. He wieghed a meager 7.0 lbs. and was measured in at 20 inches. The baby is in the nursery now, but he should be joining us again shortly. In case you are wondering, this is Matt posting the blog. I guess today is as good a time as any to start my blogging career. We are very happy and proud parents, and we are particularly happy to add another birthday to the family on April 23rd. Happy Birthday great-grandpa Ralph. We hope our little boy will live to honor the man's name with whome he shares a birthday.

You may be wondeirng what his name is.....but that will have to wait until we take the little guy home from the hospital. Charlotte is being a little non-committal about his name. Please respond to this blog with any name suggestions.

Here are a few pics from the eventful afternoon.

Sorry about the revealing picture in the initial set of pictures.

  2. Oh he's perfect! How in the heck was he able to come 23 days early?! It's a good thing because he would have been huge if he had to wait clear until then. I'm so happy for you guys, parenthood is the best thing. Can't wait to hear what his name is!

  11. Congratulations! What a beautiful little guy. I am glad he made it safely? So I am confused, did you have to be induced for some reason early, or was that by choice? Either way Congrats! And Charlotte I love the picture of you where you are just overcome with emotion. I completely relate and have a few of those myself.
