Lincoln has sure learned how to throw fits as of lately. He tenses his whole body so hard that he convulses and his face turns bright red. Just a preview of the terrible twos, I guess.
This isn't the best shot, but Lincoln loves to lick up drips. Here he is licking up drips on the couch from his sippy, which I'm OK with. When the drips happen to be on the bathroom floor or puddles in a parking lot, I'm not as approving.
He is a book biter and it drives me crazy. I've put his books on a shelf up high in his room so he won't chew them to pieces, but ocassionally he gets ahold of one that was left out. Poor "Goodnight Moon"! It's had better days.
Lincoln loves to get in things, and after he does, he looks over his shoulder proudly to see if you're watching.
He loves moving things that are bigger than he is. Yep, tipped over the Exersaucer. Good thing Bennett isn't old enough to use it, yet. I guess we'll have to cross that bridge when we get there.

Speaking of his feet, he has the weirdest pinky toenail. It has a little nubbin type thing that grows to the side of it on both feet. Matt's pinky toenails are also really demented. Grandpa Adsero, did they get this from you? Is it an Adsero Man thing? Wherever it came from it's gross:

Last, but not least, Lincoln's first words (which were spoken well over a month ago) are "Get Down!". That is because everytime I turn around he's standing on the window sill, the coffee table, the couch, a box etc. etc. My dad always says, "Repetition is the key to learning". So true. I will have you know that his second word is Jesus, although it sounds more like "Jeeda". I'm doing what I can to steer this guy in the right direction. Sure love him!
It really doesn't take long for his room to become a TOTAL disaster:
I love it when he discovers something new and sits very, very still to investigate. What a sweet little face, huh?
He has the funniest little feet. They are are like blocks. I wanted to get a profile shot, but my camera died right after this top view shot. Too long of a photo shoot, I guess. Matt calls Lincoln "Sponge Bob Square Feet". (Um, yeah, I know I need to clean out and trim his toenails, but it's Pajama Day, OK? Give me a break.)

While in Utah, I went with my mom and the boys to Deseret Book to find some pictures of Jesus and some kid's Bible and Book of Mormon books. Anyway, while I was browsing, unbeknownst to me, Licoln was busy opening a Book of Mormon action figure (Gotta love Utah!) that happened to next to him. I turn around to find that of all the 20 or so action figures available, he picked Laman!!! Laman, really? How about Nephi or Abinadi? Laman was the only bad guy other than King Noah. You break it, you bought it, so we bought Laman. Shoot! Not the action figure or role model I would have picked out for him.

Did you get a nicer camera or is it just the beautiful 17th floor light?
ReplyDeleteEither way, the pics look great ...and I miss the little terror. He's just too sweet.
