Candles, Clunkers and Curls

Matt's always reminding me that I'm almost 30. Well now he is, too. Lincoln helped out with some of the candles prior to the song, but Matt still couldn't quite get the job done. Hopefully that doesn't mean bad luck for the coming year! Glad the Caballeros could celebrate with us.

It's been snowing and raining quite a bit lately. I don't mind the snow, but don't love rain, so we stayed in our PJ's all day. Lincoln always finds a way to keep himself busy. I was in the kitchen when I heard, "CLUNK, CLUNK, CLUNK". What in the world is that???? It was Lincoln, accessorizing.

Lincoln and Bennet kept begging me to let them go out in the backyard. I tried explaining that it was too cold and wet out, but they didn't get it. I let them go out without coats on, thinking that they would want to hurry and come back in. Nope, they thought it was fun and funny to get rained on. They got soaked. The only way I got Lincoln to come in peacefully is telling him he could help me make lunch (Yippy, skippy). Bennett put up a fight. I had to go get him. His hair is SO curly when it's wet. It's really funny. He would not look at me for a photo cause he was very upset that I brought him in the house even though his hands were frozen, lips were blue and he was chattering. A little stink!

Warm pigs in a blanket for lunch. YUM!!!

  1. Laughed out loud at Lincoln in your shoes. And that hair! Wowza!

  2. I can't believe you hate the rain. Is it because you can't find one of those sexy ponchos that we wore with our even sexier helmets in Taiwan? Lincoln sports your heels well. I have a feeling that picture may be used in a future yearbook of sorts.
