All Hallow's Eve

We had a pretty fun Halloween, despite the snow and the cold. Lincoln and Bennett were both old enough this year to walk door to door themselves. No big fits over not wanting to wear a costume. Just big fits about bringing flashlights trick or treating. Lincoln had a party at his preschool on the 30th. Bennett was so happy that he got to attend, because he NEVER gets to go to school with Lincoln. His dream came true. Here they are at the preschool party. Lincoln couldn't have cared less that I was there. He was off with his buddy, Cameron. Bennett hung around pretty close.

Benny's favorite part of the party... the snacks.

Enjoying a Dora book with his teacher, Ms Kathryn.

Bennett, Lincoln, and Cameron

His teacher, Mrs Els, tried to arrange the kids for a group picture. This is the best we got.

First time actually carving pumpkins with the boys.

Bennett was all about getting the full experience.

Lincoln was all about avoiding the full experience. He didn't want to touch the "guts" of the pumpkin with his hands so he got in our drawers and found the salad tongs. Very resourceful.

Ta-da!!

My flashlight doesn't work!!! Boo hoo hoo!!

Oh!! It works now.

Love this little guy.

Whatchya lookin' at?

  1. I laughed to myself a few times during this post. First, Benny chowing down by himself. Second, Benny eating the pumpkin guts. Third, Lincoln with the salad tongs. I'm sure there was another time, but just know I thoroughly enjoyed it.
